After breakfast, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Jiuzhaigou. The excursion on this day will be to Huanglong Scenic Area-65km away from the airport which is about 1-hour drive through Mt. Xueshanliangzi at 4200m altitude. Drive to Jiuzhaigou Town 2000m altitude (128km, about 2.5-hour drive back through Mt. Xueshanliangzi) after the tour, you will spend the night in Jiuzhaigou Town.
-Huanglong Scenic Area: Huanglong means Yellow Dragon, it is so called because of the
legend that 4000 years ago a yellow dragon helped the King of the Xia Kingdom dredge the floodwater into the sea and create the Min River, and later a temple was built in memory of the yellow dragon.
Edged by snow-capped peaks and glaciers, the Huanglong Valley is praised for its colorful limestone ponds of blue, yellow, white and green, and is full of waterfalls and hot springs, flowers and animals.

Day 8 Thursday 7-April-2011 (B)
Jiuzhaigou
On this day you will enjoy a tour to the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. The highest part is Long Lake at 3100m above sea level. You can then take the tourist bus to the top, then walk down part way and take the bus down the rest of the way.
-Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area: located in Aba Autonomous Prefecture, Jiuzhaigou means "Nine
Village Gully" due to the nine Tibetan villages scattered throughout the valley, it is famed for its jade green sea, layers of water falls, snow-covered peaks, the colorful forest and the folk lore of Tibetans. Listed by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage, it is the home to rare animals and plants as well.
The area opened for public consists of three valleys-Shuzheng, Rize and Zechawa in the shape of a "Y", where you can see Sparkling Lake, Shuzheng Waterfall, Promising Bright Bay Waterfall, Mirror Lake, Pearl Shoal Waterfall, Panda Lake, Long Lake, Five-Coloured Pool and so on, offering a dazzling view of natural beauty.

Day 9 Friday 8-April-2011 (B)
Jiuzhaigou
In the morning, you will take the tourist bus of the Scenic Area to the top part of Rize Valley, a Virgin Forest, then walk back down to appreciate the view along the way before stopping for lunch at NuoRiLang Restaurant. After lunch you will continue your walk to tour Shuzheng Valley.

Day 10 Saturday 9-April-2011 (B)

You will be free until your local guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to your next destination. The tour in Chengdu on this day will bring you to the Jinli Old Street, Kuanzai Alley and the Marquis Wu Shrine. Afterwards, you will be escorted to the airport for your onward flight to your next destination -- Lijiang. Upon arriving at the Lijiang airport, your tour guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. For the rest of the day you will be free to step out in the fascinating city of Lijiang for a small adventure on your own.
-Jinli Old Street: located in Chengdu combines the ambience of ancient and modern China. Jinli Old Street was constructed in 2004 in the traditional architectural style of Sichuan Province during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Jinli Old Street is not only a wonderful reminder China’s past, but also a great place for people to fully appreciate Sichuan’s customs, and folk arts.
-Marquis Wu Shrine: built by Li Xiong in the Western Jin Dynasty(265-316AD) in memory of Zhuge Liang, prime minister of Shu Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms Period(220-Zhuge Liang, prime minister of Shu Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms Period(220-
280AD).Zhuge Liang (181-234AD) was not only a great statesman and military strategist
but also the hero of the novel Sanguo Yanyi (the Romance of the Three Kingdoms).
